Chapter Officers

Olivia Forrest

President

Olivia is in her fourth year studying Bioethics and Environmental Ethics at UofT. She joined Kappa in 2020 to find a community at UofT and grow as a woman. Outside of Kappa, she enjoys working with children, swimming, and playing with her dog. This year Olivia is excited to work alongside executive to support and empower the Beta Psi Chapter.

Carly Sutherland

Vice President Standards

Carly is a fourth year double majoring in ethics, society, and law with criminology and sociolegal studies. She’s originally from Vancouver but moved to Toronto to experience UofT with the goal of meeting new people in her second year. Despite this being her first year in Toronto, Kappa has already become a big part of her life and she values the friends she’s made. She enjoys making music and art and aspires to be a lawyer in the future. She considers herself to be reliable and dependent, and will always be there to lend a hand if needed!

Natalie Cirone

Vice President Operations

Natalie is in her third year at U of T. She is currently pursuing a major in philosophy and minors in sociology and psychology, with hopes of becoming a lawyer. She enjoys playing hockey and soccer and is a part of the utsc tri campus teams. She joined kappa looking to make friends and connections, and has found a family within her sisters. Natalie is looking forward to the upcoming year as Vice President Operations and is hoping to contribute to the success of kappa for yet another year!

Carmen Xiang

Vice President Membership

Carmen is a fourth-year student at Rotman Commerce, pursuing a specialist in Finance and Economics and a minor in German Business. She grew up in China and moved to Abbotsford, BC when she was 15 years old. She is so grateful to be surrounded by a group of intelligent and supportive sisters at Kappa. Carmen is a huge dog person. She loves working out, exploring new hiking trails and visiting aesthetic coffee shops in Toronto.

Nikki Azhand

Vice President Member Development (DEI Officer)

Nikki is a second year student at the university of Toronto doing a double major in bioethics and environmental ethics. Nikki was born and raised in the GTA and joined kappa in her first year. Nikki loves to spend time with her dog and is most excited to work with her team to plan events for the chapters enjoyment!

Katherine Hartig

Vice President Internal Affairs (Ritual and History Officer)

Katherine is in her third year, double majoring in History and Renaissance Studies with the hope of becoming a history teacher. She is from the United States and joined Kappa in her first year as a way to find a community in a new place. Outside of Kappa, she volunteers with the UofT sexual education center and loves watching new shows, cooking, and exploring new places in the city! She is looking forward to strengthening Beta Psi’s connections to Kappa history and tradition through ritual and initiation this year!

Emily Painter

Vice President Finance

Emily is in her third year at UofT completing a Cell and Molecular Biology double major and an immunology minor. She grew up in a small town north of Toronto where she lived until her first year. Now, she loves exploring the city to see what it has to offer and loves finding new bookstores, thrift stores, coffee shops, libraries and parks. This is her third year in Kappa and is so excited to be a part of the newest executive board where she gets to work with her sisters whom she adores through and through.

Katie Ireland

Events Director

Katie is in her fourth year at uoft and is doing a specialist in psychology. She loves to dance and is a hip-hop instructor for kids. She hopes to work with children as a developmental psychologist. She is looking forward to planning exciting events for the chapter and is looking forward to semi in the fall!!

Lian Hosseinnia

Public Relations Director

Lian is in her third year student majoring in Global Health, and minoring in Bioethics and Practical French. She grew up in the Greater Toronto Area and joined Kappa in Fall 2021. Outside of Kappa, she can be found working in her college, exploring new study spots on campus and finding ways to be more involved with her community. She loves paddle-boarding, spending time with friends and family, swimming at the beach and spending hours on Pinterest. As PR Director, she is excited to use her creativity to represent the chapter!

Sophia Lenkov

Risk Prevention Director

Sophia is in her second year at UofT and intends to pursue a major in political science and economics. She enjoys volunteering within her community and is a figure skating coach and English tutor to students in Japan. Sophia loves figure skating, playing instruments, and baking. She’s eager to develop her leadership skills in her new role as risk chairman, and continue to make lasting memories with her sisters!

Emma Belhadfa

Academic Excellence Director

Emma is double majoring in Aerospace Engineering and Fine Art History, currently on her co-op at MDA. She is this year’s Academic Excellence Director and is excited to bring new ideas to the role. Past officer positions in Kappa and leadership roles throughout U of T have prepared her for the job. She loves movies, backpacking, and overpriced oat matcha lattes.

Victoria Boyd

Member Engagement Director

Victoria is currently in her second year at UofT pursuing a specialist in biochemistry and a minor in physical chemistry. She is originally from London, England, and enjoys cooking, rowing, and listening to new music in her free time. Having joined Kappa in her first year, she is super excited to be getting involved as an officer this year!

Sofia Stoetes

Administration Director

Sofia is in her third year at the University of Toronto, double majoring in criminology and sociology. Sofia was born & raised in Toronto. She joined Kappa during her first year of university (PC’20). Sofia enjoys playing hockey, soccer, or anything that can keep her active in her free time. She is so happy she went Kappa and was able to find her home.  

Ashleigh Sanders

Facility Director

Ashleigh is in her second year at U of T, pursuing a specialist in Kinesiology and Physical Education. Outside of school, she loves sports, and is currently playing on the UTSC Tri-Campus team. Ashleigh joined Kappa last year and is looking forward to holding her first position as the Facility Director. Through Kappa, she has made so many friends and memories, and cannot wait to make many more!
